Data Deletion Instructions
Effective May 14, 2026
You have the right to request deletion of your data from Command Center at any time. Here's exactly how the process works.
Option 1: Self-serve from your dashboard (recommended)
- Log in to Command Center at runcommandcenter.ca
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click Export My Datafirst if you want to keep a copy — you'll get a CSV + JSON download with everything we have on you and your business.
- Click Delete My Account
- Confirm by typing the deletion phrase the system shows you (this exists to prevent accidental deletes)
- Your account is immediately suspended. Your data is permanently deleted from active systems within 24 hours, and from disaster-recovery backups within 90 days.
Note: the in-dashboard self-serve flow is rolling out as part of the Command Center v1 launch. If it's not yet live when you read this, use Option 2.
Option 2: Email request
- Email e2cawatson@gmail.com with the subject line: Data Deletion Request
- Include the email address associated with your account
- State that you're requesting deletion of all your data
- If you want a copy first, ask us to export everything before deletion — we'll send it as a download link.
We'll confirm receipt within 2 business days, perform the deletion within 30 days, and email you confirmation when complete.
What gets deleted
- Your client account and profile
- All contacts, leads, and customer records you've stored
- All photos, files, notes, and pipeline data
- All conversation history (SMS, email, calls logged in our system)
- All AI-generated drafts, posts, and content
- All integration tokens (Meta, Google, Twilio, etc.)
- Your team member records and phone allowlist
What we may keep (and why)
- Billing records— kept for 7 years to comply with Canadian tax law. Includes invoices and payment history but no payment method details (those live with Stripe).
- Anonymized usage logs— aggregated stats with no personal identifiers, used for product improvement. Cannot be traced back to you.
- Disaster recovery backups— persist for up to 90 days, then are overwritten. Active deletion completes within 24 hours of your request; backup deletion is automatic within 90 days.
What about content already published?
Content you've already published to Facebook, Google Business Profile, your blog, etc. lives on those services — not in our system. Deleting your Command Center account does NOT automatically delete posts that already went live on Facebook (for example). To remove published content, you'd delete it directly on the platform where it lives.
Connected accounts
Deleting your Command Center account also revokes the integration tokens we held for your connected services. As an extra step, we recommend you also revoke our access from each service's own settings — instructions and direct links live at runcommandcenter.ca/security.
For Meta / Facebook reviewers
If you arrived here from the Meta App Review process: this page serves as our Data Deletion Instructions URL as required by Meta's Platform Terms. Users who want to delete data from Command Center follow the steps above. We process all requests within 30 days of receipt.
